Birthday madness

It's not terribly my birthday still, but lingering celebrations do remain. One of them took place last night at the apartment of these kids I know, Ryan and Sarahs. Ryan cooked me up the steak, they plied my with alcohol, and we had fun with all the birthday toys.

The evening was documented on Ryan's sweet-ass new digital camera, and I've posted the highlights on my Flickr page. I hadn't played around with Flickr before this but it seems like a decent way of sharing photos, and they have a nice program that will automatically upload photos from my Mac. It's a lot easier than exporting things from iPhoto to a web page and then trying to find some place to host it...

Beep Beep Beep Beep, Yeah!

Cars are scary. They're big steel machines of doom. I do not trust that a car I operate won't just stop working as a drive it. I fear running over nails. I fear psycho people in lanes next to me losing their minds and making sharp turns of their steering wheels to crash into me...for no reason. No one (aside from Jeff) at all understands my fear of driving. Not just, "driving at night is a little creepy." We're talking nightmares. Every bad dream I have that I can remember involves me operating a vehicle careening out of control. Me driving a vehicle without brakes. Having to merge into traffic and not being able to maneuver the steering wheel. I drove a bit growing up (living in a Florida suburb, you kind of had to), but unlike the majority of my friends, I didn't have my own car. Some small updates

A. We're married (yay us!), and much love to all our friends, family, and especially parents who made our wedding so wonderful. There are various sites cropping up around the Internet with unauthorized paparazzi pictures, and I won't condone that sort of thing by linking to them (if you have uploaded any, I guess you can link to them in the comments to this post). When there are some sort of official pictures available, I'll let folks know. B. We're on our honeymoon (yay us!), and while we obviously have Internet access in the room, we're doing our best not to be huge nerds and we're getting out and enjoying St. Kitts. I've already uploaded some photos to Flickr that you can check out now , and as I take more, more will be uploaded to the same photoset. The photoset has been updated with a bunch more pictures, and I think Sheryl will be uploading some of her own to her Flickr account as well.
